Platform Terms

YouthBridge helps secondary-school students discover opportunities, form purpose-bound teams, coordinate projects, record submissions, and build a proof-of-work Passport. The platform is operating as a private pilot, so features and eligibility may change as safety and reliability are tested.

YouthBridge does not guarantee admission, awards, employment, selection by an organizer, or any particular result from using the platform.

Use your own email address, keep your password private, and provide accurate age, school, availability, skills, and contribution information. Do not create an account for another person or misrepresent a project, submission, identity, institution, or outcome.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account until you report suspected unauthorized access.

Accounts identified as belonging to a person under 18 require verified consent from a parent or legal guardian before team membership, team messaging, artifact uploads, peer verification, or submissions unlock.

A guardian may revoke consent. Revocation can restrict participation and starts the applicable retention or account-deletion process. Public Passport visibility and institution access remain separate student choices.

Use team rooms only for the accepted opportunity or project. Do not harass, threaten, discriminate, impersonate, exploit, groom, solicit money from, or request private addresses, passwords, intimate material, identity documents, or off-platform meetings from another user.

Do not upload malware, spam, unlawful material, copied work presented as your own, or content that violates an organizer's rules. Safety reports may be reviewed by authorized moderators, and access may be restricted while a report is investigated.

You keep ownership of original work you create. You give YouthBridge the limited permission needed to store, process, display, verify, and export that work according to your privacy and team settings.

Team ownership, licensing, confidentiality, and organizer submission rules may differ by opportunity. Teams are responsible for agreeing on ownership and checking the official organizer terms before submitting.

Passport evidence records claims, artifacts, receipts, outcomes, and teammate checks. A YouthBridge verification means the stated evidence or workflow was recorded; it is not a guarantee of quality, authorship, organizer approval, or future performance.

Fraudulent evidence, coordinated false verification, plagiarism, or manipulated submission records may be removed and may result in account restrictions.

Organizations do not receive unrestricted access to student profiles or contact lists. Any Scout or evidence-room access must be purpose-specific, time-limited, and approved by the student under the controls available in the product.

Sponsored challenges must clearly identify the organizer, brief, eligibility, judging process, expected work, data use, and any prizes or compensation.

YouthBridge may change, pause, or discontinue pilot features and may restrict an account to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law, or preserve platform integrity.

Material changes to these terms will be posted with a new revision date and, when appropriate, presented in the product before they take effect.
