YouthBridge projects are student-led initiatives that bring together participants from different schools, cities, and countries. From innovation camps and AI workshops to speaker series and cross-border hackathons — every project is designed to foster collaboration, sharpen skills, and create real-world impact. Our founding phase projects started in Türkiye, with international collaborations expanding as we grow.
On February 7, 2026, we successfully organized VisionFest'26 under İAFL's Entrepreneurship Club — an inspiring event centered on entrepreneurship, leadership, and innovation. The event brought together influential speakers, experience-sharing sessions, and valuable networking opportunities, reinforcing the importance of idea generation and spreading entrepreneurial culture among students.
IAFL AI Talks is a recurring speaker series organized by the İAFL Artificial Intelligence Club at Istanbul Atatürk Science High School. We invite leading figures from academia, industry, and the startup ecosystem to share their insights with our students. Our February 2026 guest was Prof. Dr. Barış Tan, Rector of Özyeğin University and a Boğaziçi University alumnus, who spoke about AI's impact on education, business, and societal transformation. Previous sessions have featured experts from diverse fields including technology, entrepreneurship, and data science. Each talk includes a keynote presentation followed by an interactive Q&A session, creating a platform where high school students can directly engage with thought leaders. The series aims to inspire the next generation of innovators and bridge the gap between academia and young learners.
As the İAFL AI Club, we launched a new education series: "Vibe Coding & IDEs" — focused on accelerating the journey from idea to working product. The series goes beyond just writing syntax, combining the right IDE choices, effective workflows, modern development practices, and AI-powered productivity. Prompt Engineering is a core module, teaching students the art of communicating with AI tools effectively.
Organized by İAFL's Entrepreneurship Club, Focus On 25 was a 3-day innovation camp that brought together 200+ students from different high schools. Teams worked on solving a real-world business case, and through intensive collaboration and mentoring, they developed creative solutions. The camp was a showcase of what young people can achieve when they channel their potential in the right direction.
At Istanbul Atatürk Science High School, the Artificial Intelligence Club was founded to bring together students passionate about AI. The club works in specialized teams to develop AI-based projects addressing real-world problems, organize workshops and peer learning sessions, host expert speakers, and participate in competitions like TEKNOFEST and TÜBİTAK 2204-A.
İAFL Robotics Club organized a maze-category robot competition targeting middle school students. Participants from various primary schools across Istanbul designed robots with guidance from İAFL students, aiming to complete a complex maze course. Students not only developed robotics and coding skills but also demonstrated problem-solving, teamwork, and creative thinking — inspiring them to embrace science and technology.
